Bring a wide variety of experiences into your life because not all influential people or insightful critics will come from the arts community. Take note of and value the knowledge that your peers possess in a range of areas. As we explore perceptions, emotions, fantasies, and feelings through art, it extends our world and helps us form communities. We sympathetically replicate the artistic process. We process our inner states together via expression and investigation. In addition to being your support system and critical audience, your community is full of people you might never meet. The arts establish links and initiate conversations that we might start but never complete on our own. Engaging in artistic endeavors creates opportunities for communities to flourish.
This is what i drew when i was inside the wymering manor and performing various activities in various spots of the manor.
As art changes with society, an artist makes use of the tangible language of the outside world. We have to be the flaneurs of our time, picking up the forgotten, observing the invisible, and raising issues for the future with our inquiries. Science and art give us the means to control and comprehend our environment and civilization. However, we must not underestimate the skills we have developed within. Digital excess and sense-diluting technologies permeate every aspect of our life. What makes us human is our ability to perceive, hear, and feel the environment with complexity and criticality.
Between the impulse and the action that represents possibilities, there is always a moment. The moment between taking a breath and letting it out was called a "breath turn" by Paul Celan. Marcel Duchamp wrote of the "negative capability," and John Keats spoke of the "infrathin." There will be struggles and moments of clarity in this liminal realm, as well as moments when no one can provide support or encouragement. You have to stay in the storm and learn to live in the gray. The artist has to learn to live with and through change.
