In today's class we were supposed to show our journey in an illustrative form. The greatest obstacle in the critical examination of theoretical interpretations of the notion in architecture is how the idea of expression is applied differently in numerous fields of science and art.
My architectural collages explained my collective journey till now. How various activities and tasks were performed separately but eventually every bit started to make sense and together they can be collaborated in order to formulate a bigger image.
Every activity from the beginning will serve a purpose. Moreover, for me it's about the journey not about the destination.
Our minds are continuously churning and bursting with ideas and emotions. It can be draining, and occasionally we get carried away. But, creating art enables us to take a momentary stand in the middle of that river and observe the currents around us.
Also, seeing is crucial. These internal thought patterns can start to alter if we can recognize them. We can eliminate harmful attitudes and routines to make room for more acceptance and love. Instead of letting our thoughts take up residence in our heads and rule us, we can recognize them for what they are—just thoughts—and use those emotions to create art.
